4-Star Park Continues to Make Upgrades

4-Star Park continues to make upgrades to insure the park is shovel ready for prospective businesses. The 800-acre park has invested millions of dollars in recent years in road and utility improvements. The recent upgrades compliment work that has already been accomplished.

At their recent meeting, the Park Board awarded a contract to extend gas lines throughout the Central section of the park from US 41 to the CSX mainline. Additionally, work is being finalized this week to install new solar lighting at both the Northern Star Way and Southern Star Way entrances.

Other recent improvements include having the entire park designated an active Foreign Trade Zone; extending new water and sewer lines throughout the Central and Eastern portions of the park; and mapping the broadband accessibility throughout the park.
